The most recent Archetype in Focus post on Darkness went out last week. There is a lot to say on the symbol of Darkness and, since we like to keep the Archetype in Focus posts pretty brief, there was not enough space to add in this T.S. Eliot poem:
O dark dark dark…
I said to my soul, be still, and let the dark come upon you…
I said to my soul, be still and wait without hope
For hope would be hope for the wrong thing; wait without love
For love would be love of the wrong thing; …
Wait without thought, for you are not ready for thought:
So the darkness shall be the light, and the stillness the dancing.
What else should we have included?
